About CRT

Why CRT exists

The Centre for Reproductive Training grew out of a steady, unmet demand for animal reproduction training in Australia. It brings together leading reproductive specialists from across the country, from commercial service providers through to the scientific sector, so the full range of techniques is taught in one place and to one standard. This combination is unique in Australia.

Animal welfare and work health and safety obligations keep tightening. Correct handling and proper technical training are how they are met, cutting the risk to the animal, the technician and the producer alike.

Training of this quality also pays for itself. It puts advanced reproductive technologies in the hands of producers, so that advances in superior genetic gain can happen quickly, and the operation keeps pace with what the fast changing genetic market is asking for.

Our courses are built to teach those technologies at that high level.
